We love to help persons on begin and continue their musical journey. This is why G-Clef Music Academy offers quality private and group music lessons on St. Thomas and St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. You can enroll at ANYTIME online or call for assistance at (340) 344-6449. We teach Piano, Guitar, Voice (Singing), Violin, Ukulele, and Drums to students of all ages and levels. We specialize in music lessons for beginners, so we also offer Music Exploration for ages 3 to 5.

MUSIC EXPLORATION FOR AGES 3 TO 5:

Private Lessons & Preschoolers SING! Group Lessons

PRIVATE LESSONS: Ages 3 to 5 become Little Music Explorers. They learn the fundamentals of music in a FUN WAY through access to various music instruments, like the piano, ukulele, acoustic and electric guitar, steel pan, chimes, drums, bells, violin and singing. Their musical journey may start at the beginning, but through their explorations they will eventually learn how to read and play piano on the staff and learn to various playing techniques of various instruments. PRESCHOOLERS SING! GROUP LESSONS: We WELCOME preschool beginners to learn how to use their unique voices to SING, while exploring melody and rhythm in G-Clef Music Academy's "Preschoolers SING!" Registration is ONGOING for AGES 3 to 6 to enroll in weekly one-hour group lessons for "Preschoolers SING!" on Saturdays at 1:00pm to 2:00pm at G-Clef's St. Thomas location in Mandela Circle.

In "Preschoolers SING!", students receive vocal training and techniques. They'll sharpen their skills on singing in a group, so they'll be prepared for performance. Only $99.00 per month for each student to be a part of G-Clef's dynamic Preschoolers SING! There is a one-time $25.00 Registration Fee per person. IT'S EASY TO REGISTER, just CALL (340) 344-6449. VIOLIN LESSONS:

Private Lessons & Violin Ensemble Group Lessons

PRIVATE LESSONS: ALL ages and ALL levels are welcome for private one-on-one music lessons. This way you can get customized training, learn at your own pace and learn the style of music you like best! Our violin teachers teach a variety of styles from classical violin lessons to pop music. Our teachers will show you how to read, give solid technique and theory, but they’ll also incorporate songs you want to learn into the process. VIOLIN ENSEMBLE GROUP LESSONS: We WELCOME young beginners to learn how to play various music styles and genres on the violin! REGISTER NOW for G-Clef Music Academy's VIOLIN ENSEMBLE Group Lessons! Children, ages 8 to 17, will learn how play the violin at our St. Thomas location in Mandela Circle. Registration is ONGOING to enroll in weekly one-hour group lessons on SATURDAYS at 2:00pm to 3:00pm. It's a great opportunity to sharpen their skills on playing in a group ensemble, so they'll be prepared for performance.

The Group Lesson MONTHLY RATE for the Violin Ensemble is only $120.00 (plus there's a one-time Registration Fee of $25.00 per person). It's EASY TO ENROLL. GUITAR LESSONS:

Private Lessons & Guitar Ensemble Group Lessons

PRIVATE LESSONS: Our guitar teachers teach pop, R&B, Caribbean, Gospel, Rock, Blues, Country and Classical guitar lessons. We teach on electric and acoustic guitar. Beginner students can expect to work on chords, simple songs and melodies, sight reading and theory. We balance musicianship and fun by making sure that each lesson you are challenged with a new technical or theory concept, but always end with something fun such as your favorite riff or song. We use a variety of guitar method books to accomplish this and encourage students to bring CDs or their iPod to their guitar lesson to learn their favorite tunes. GUITAR ENSEMBLE GROUP LESSONS: We WELCOME young beginners to learn how to play various music styles and genres on the acoustic guitar. Registration is ONGOING for AGES 7 to 17 to enroll in weekly one-hour group lessons for "Guitar Ensemble" on Wednesdays at 6:00pm to 7:00pm at G-Clef's St. Thomas location in Mandela Circle. Parents/Guardians should know that music greatly benefits young children--improving their focus, confidence and problem-solving skills.

In "Guitar Ensemble", students receive training and techniques on the acoustic guitar. They'll sharpen their skills on playing in a group ensemble, so they'll be prepared for performance. VOICE LESSONS:

Private Lessons & Pop Youth Choir Group Lessons

PRIVATE LESSONS: Our voice teachers primarily focus on popular music. If you have always wanted to be a better Pop, Gospel, Country, Jazz, or R&B singer, then we have the right voice teachers for you. Voice students spend time each week doing physical exercises to improve their vocal range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation and more. All voice students set goals with their teacher to work on sounding like their favorite recording artists, or if they prefer, to develop their own unique voice! If you have a passion to sing, G-Clef can help you apply reading music and staying on pitch to your God-given talent. POP YOUTH CHOIR GROUP LESSONS: Let your VOICE be HEARD!! REGISTER NOW for G-Clef Music Academy's NEW POP YOUTH CHOIR Group Lessons. We're inviting youth, ages 7 to 17, who have a desire to lift their voices in various music styles and genres. PIANO LESSONS

Our piano teachers teach a variety of styles from classical to popular music. Whether you want to learn Bach or Alicia Keys, our teachers are happy to help you become the pianist you want to be. Our piano faculty will show you the fundamentals of sight reading, technique and theory, but they will also incorporate your favorite songs into your lessons. You do not have to have a piano at home to take lessons. A simple full size electronic keyboard will suffice for the first 6 months. Our piano teachers have warm personalities and enjoy sharing their love for the piano with you. DRUM LESSONS

We have one of the most professional drum lesson rooms in Tucson, with state of the art sound proofing and two Yamaha drum kits for students to use. Our drum instructors teach rock, metal, jazz, funk, blues and many other styles. Drum language can be complex and our instructors will challenge any drummer with a wide variety of technical exercises designed to improve your speed and comfort. All drummers bring in their favorite drum parts to learn in their drum lessons and theory is encouraged. We have many drum students who play in local bands be it in rock clubs or their local churches. You do not have to purchase a drum kit to take lessons.

MUSIC LESSONS IN STEEL PAN, BASS GUITAR, UKULELE & OTHER INSTRUMENTS

We also offer music lessons in Steel Pan, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, and variety of other instruments, including those in the brass and woodwind family for children and adults. Please let us know your interest in any of these instruments.
